Getting to Tortola
There are no direct flights from the USA, Canada, Europe, or South America to the British Virgin Islands main airport, the Terrence B. Lettsome Airport (EIS). All flights must
connect through another Caribbean airport on islands such as Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antigua, St. Kitts, or St. Maarten/St. Martin.
Passports: You will be required to produce proof of citizenship. A passport is required. Be sure to read the BVIs entry requirements.
The four most common ways to get to Tortola is through St.Thomas (STT), USVI or San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), or if you are traveling from overseas St. Maarten/St. Martin or Antigua.
The most convenient way to reach the Steele Point Estate is flying to St. Thomas and taking the Ferry from the Charlotte Amalie port of departure terminal (a five minute taxi from the airport) to the Tortola West End port of arrival.
And remember as a guest of the Steele Point Estate you will be met and greeted at the airport or ferry dock and the transfer is a complementary service.
